LIGHTING

To understand lighting i used this website because i found it easy to understand http://www.picturecorrect.com/tips/use-of-light-in-photography/.
This photo was taken by Annie Lebovitz and i think is shows lighting because the rays of light and mist, combine together and make a misty light in the background. I think Annie takes really good photos such as this one.

FOCAL POINT

This image is by Vee Speers and i think it shows focal point because there is a plain backgorund which we dont really notice and all our attention is on the girl.

COMPOSITION

This image by John Hedgecoe shows composition by him putting his hands around his face and blocking out the background and making us focus on him and not the things around him.

FIRST ANALYSIS

• FACTUAL: this image is by Vee Speers, she is an Australian artist/photographer who i think takes interesting and different photos. 
• the CONTEXT: this is one of her photos which is part of a portfolio which is called 'Birthday Party' and this is a child or a teenager in this photo.
• TECHNICAL: I think this photo was taken outside or inside an old looking building due to the colour of the wall behind the girl, also I think she has used a digital camera. 
• AESTHETIC: what i like most about this image is that i haven't seen any other artists do photos like this one but also the fact that it hasn't got big,strong or bold bright colours on it just simple ones like, white and yet it catches my eye because its so unusual.
